Car battery charger CTEK MXS 5.0

The CTEK MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic eight-step charger with a temperature sensor, controlled by a microprocessor. The charging current is 5 A. It is designed for 12 V batteries from 1.2 to 110 Ah and is suitable for up to 160 Ah for maintenance charging. The charger has IP 65 (protected against splashing water and dust), ensures protection of the vehicle's electrical installation during charging, protection against reverse polarity, sparking and short circuit.

The CTEK MXS 5.0 offers the latest technologies created for professional CTEK chargers. The new function for AGM batteries is perfect for maximizing the efficiency and life of most Stop-Start batteries or for modern motorcycle batteries. The built-in temperature compensation ensures ideal charging even during extreme external conditions. The charger diagnoses the battery condition and regulates the charging mode accordingly. It offers a Recond mode to mix the electrolyte in case of stratification (step 6 in charging mode). A unique display allows the user to monitor the entire charging process. The new charger also has improved cable embedding into the device to prevent damage due to swelling, etc. It is protected against short circuits, overvoltage and reverse polarity.
